The annual "Million Dollar Homes" issue of the West Austin News is out this week and as part of the event, I have featured a premier listing in one the Eanes School District's finest neighborhoods, Davenport Ranch. Located at the intersection of Westlake Drive and Capital of Texas Highway (the Loop 360), Davenport Ranch lies at the east end of the Westlake peninsula and is convenient to downtown (20 minute drive) and the business corridor along loop 360. Davenport boasts some of Austin's finest homes in a community that offers the discriminating buyer every amenity imaginable. Austin Country Club and golf course are within the area and overlook Lake Austin. Nearby dining and shopping is available along Loop 360 and at The Village at Westlake Shopping Center, 701 South Capital of Texas Highway. As is readily apparent, this home has numerous amenities and construction details that really have to be seen to be appreciated. For more information or a private showing of this exceptional home or to see any other homes located in the Eanes School District, please contact me by email or my mobile number listed below.

If you or anyone you know is anticipating purchasing or selling real estate in Central, West or Southwest Austin or the Westlake/Eanes School District area, I would be happy to be of assistance. Russell, just checking in to see about thi listing! the West Austin News ad looks fabulous and I left copies on your desk to send to your clients! West Austin News and The Picayune are still the best place top advertise since they are so popular in the areas where you specialize!
Allysoun Thanks, I thought we made a very strong showing the the issue and agree with you that it is one of two papers where print advertising is still effective! Although, this jpeg is a little hard to read (maybe it's just my computer monitor!)
Russell - WOW! Great photos of this listing, especially the pool at night. Very dramatic. Best of luck for a quick sale on this one!
Russell, definitely upscale, even for Austin. Good luck with it. I agree that the top end still likes the print media.
OMG Russell - Let's see, it would take 20 of mine to make 1 of yours....LOL - What a BEAUTY!!! When it sells, you're buying lunch dinner....deal? Fabulous marketing piece :-)
Hey, that looks very nice and incredibly professional! It looked great along with the other fabulous homes that AvenueOne included in the West Austin News Million Dollar homes issue. Great exposure and you all made a huge impression with your excellent graphics and layout! Hope you sell it soon!
Russell: What a gorgeous home! I'm noticing the sky in the picture...was it about to storm? Very striking with the light colored brick on the house.
Kim Thank you. We always use a professional photographer and I am a fan of night time shots. He did a fantastic jobs on the pool!
Gary Thank you. we have recently cut way back on print media with the exception of the focused areas represented by the neighborhood papers. We still do a lot of "Company" advertising in Christies and some of the local upscale magazines!
Gail Hi there, thanks for your time on the phone today. This home is an incredible beauty and it's privilege to market this type of real estate and in some of Austin's finest neighborhoods!
Mattie I am glad that you liked the issue. You are right the entire presentation was first class in every way!
Chris Ann The home is spectacular and you are right, the photographer was able to take advantage of a dramatic sky for some of the exterior pictures! It was very impressive and we were very pleased with our prominent showing in the Million Dollar Homes issue.
Howdy there Russell, my friend
That there sure is a really fine looking listing page, in the Million Dollar Home issue. I sure do like the why the home stand's out in the photo. You sure do always, do a real fine job.

s
Dale I truly appreciate your comments and agree that good photos make a world of difference in print ads and online too! We always use a professional photographer because I am not that good at "architectural photos" (Though I love taking pictures of lots of other thins!!)

Hi Russell How did you see that remark on the broom closet photo. I realized this was a public blog and not a members only and didn't want to bore the public with office antics.. so I deleted that part. Anyway truly a wonderful home.
Dear Russell,
What a lovely home. It is such a testament to your hard work and dedication to be included in this prestigious magazine. Kudos to YOU!
Betina

Hi everyone, I have to leave and go on a listing appointment but will return to reply to all of these great comments! Thanks for stopping by!
It is important to make a credible and PROFESSIONAL impression in the areas where we work and the WAN Million Dollar homes issue was a perfect way for us to market both ourselves, our company and our wonderful listings!
June I already edited my comment but was just agreeing with you that it is imperative that anything we post and even our comments should maintain quality as it a representation of who and what we are. I've already commented on your excellent post on the subject!
Betina Thanks so much for dropping by I always appreciate your comments!
Scott We are indeed fortunate to work with one of the premier companies marketing upscale homes in Austin's finest neighborhoods!
Robin Thank you. I have enjoyed reading your blog and it will only get better with great pictures! Have a good week!
Gena Good to see you here. The home on Bold Ruler is in an area of beautiful and spectacular residences! It's a neighborhood not to be missed when looking for the best the area has to offer!
Karen The upper end market is like that in many parts of the country but realistically we have not experience the dramatic drops in value as elsewhere. I think we have flattened however there are many buyers circulating and at this point still sitting on the fence to see what will happen next!?!
Jeannette I agree that one of our strong points is that we have the best tools and marketing to work with buyers and sellers in the upscale home market here in Austin!
