Jeannette Funny you should say that...Usually, if the weather is too nice people sometimes choose to do other things besides check out open houses! I do know that it is usually the most serious who look during this time of year so I am indeed hoping for a good crowd!

Karen, It's not nearly as severe here and in fact if anything it's just flat and is a far cry from the early 90's when we saw price and value drops similar to yours! Hang in there; it will pass and we will returning to stability eventually!

Howdy Gail Yes I know (I am something of a smart aleck at times)...I sometimes cannot help my self and of course you are always welcome to and probably will respond in kind on any of my posts! I do think it is really cool that even though you all are competitors you get along so well, sort of like Jason and me here in Austin!
This open house went very well and I had a number of groups through! There were neighbors (I always like that) some very serious lookers and I managed to meet a nice couple that are moving from out of state and want something under 1M in the area. So I would say it went well and that we generated some good activity for the home too!
Russell - have no fear, I do relate, quite well I might add :-) Glad the OH went so well...I just hope you have some empathy for the fact that I must sell 5-7 houses to equal 1 of your sales. Just the same...life is good!

Hi Gail Well don't get me wrong I work in most price ranges and it takes a lot of work and expense to market these homes as it does any home! Life is certainly good now but I have to tell you that it is probably easier selling homes in Titusville's median range than here!
I did not see the song contest because I have been busy trying to price a new listing just south of this one and looking for business...Sounds fun and I will go see the results! Thanks again!
