This Saturday, January 30, 2010 in support of my associate Dana Dean at AvenueOne Properties, I will be helping her hold open 2900 Willowbridge Circle as part of the 3rd Annual Austin Modern Home Tour. As far as modern homes this house is nothing short of SPECTACULAR! Rebuilt in 2009 this Austin Luxury Home has breathtaking open expanses, site-built commercial steel doors. Complete with a huge island in an open gourmet kitchen, exposed beams, pecan built-ins, and unique texture. The Tour will consist of 16 homes in the Austin area and tickets to visit all 16 homes on the Tour are $10 in advance or $20 at any of the homes the day of the Tour. You may purchase tickets here. Once you have purchased tickets, you will be notified about how to pick up your wristbands and maps prior to the event. So, please check your emails.
This is a driving tour. You may download a printable map here that will help you as you navigate the town.
I will be at the 2900 Willowbridge Circle from 12:00 - 3:00 and Dana Dean will be on hand from 3:00 - 6:00 so drop by and visit with us about this incredible home and our current market!

Lisa The pictures of the space are incredible and to answer your question, the money goes to support the event and activities. There are other tours in Austin that charge a fee, the Historical and Preservation Society and the Symphony Guild Parade of Luxury Tour. No profit is made and this tour helps as the mission statement says, "the exchange of ideas and contacts between Real Estate Professionals, Architects, and Developers so as to foster collaborative rather than competitive relationships within the industry and further the idea of modern and sustainable living in the City of Austin."
